WELCOME TO THE "Memories of Italy" WEBSITE!
Your travel guide to online resources for Italy
An unique Italian-canadian perspective
The MEMORIES OF ITALY website is dedicated to those who love Italy, have been there or plan to visit this incredible complex and multi-layered country.
Our website hopes to be one of your travel guides. Our aim is NOT to recommend restaurants or places to visit or stay in either Rome, Florence or any other part of Italy. Rather we want to share our experiences and perspective and help you making the most of your vacation.

I have a very unique perspective. Born in Rome where I lived for 26 years, I have been a professional in Canada for 30 years. I still maintain my strong italian heritage. My periodic travel to Italy, and helping friends and acquaintances, has prompted me to develop this website.
Memories of Italy is rich of information and tips, all free to you to use. We will talk about driving in Italy, visiting Rome, visiting Florence and other major cities, explore the Chianti region as well as other topics such as eating in Italy, italian meals, taking the train in Italy, and such. Our HD Videos on Italy (Agritourism Poggio Asciutto, Horseback riding in Tuscany, The Cat Sanctuary in Rome, Orvieto) may provide you with some ideas on what to explore. If you need more details and customized help, I welcome your email. I can provide you with a detailed tour to greatly enhance your experience and make the most of you time and resources.
The Internet can be a great source of information. But it can also be a source of confusion.
Look at the MEMORIES OF ITALY Website as YOUR guide to the Internet for travellers to Italy. Bookmark this page since we will continuously update it.
This website will expand and grow as we post more information.
Don’t hesitate to ask for advice and comment on our blog or use our contact form. We welcome your questions and any suggestion/experience you would like to share.
